We always have a wonderful meal here no matter the party size we are with or the occassion of the visit. The staff are very helpful and attentive to your needs. The food is always very delicious. The place is very clean, and the atmosphere is fitting for a fine dining establishment. Try the Italian Butter if you havent already! It makes for a wonderful appetizer. Thank you.

To start this restaurant is amazing! The ambience is nice with dim lighting ( my gf and I went in the evening) we got sat right away. Our server I think was the bartender as well. She was very polite and answered any question we had on the menu and even recommended some things to try. The food was delicious. Tasted very fresh and hot , so much flavor. One of the better Italian restaurants I’ve been to! Thank you Salvatore for an awesome dinner, I recommend and I will be back!!!!

Excellent food. Huge portions. Reasonable prices! We will be back. 1st timers. Our server was incredible. Young man with glasses. Forgot his name but if I see him we will ask to sit in his section for sure.

My new favorite Italian Restaurant! The food of phenomenal and the service is always great! The decor is a little dated and the restaurant it's self is a little small but you don't notice any of that once you sit down. Just discovered the patio this past weekend and it had a great atmosphere.

Really good food. The staff are extremely nice. Been going there for years, and have never had a bad experience. Great atmosphere, a little cramped, but has a nice little outdoor patio. This is unquestionably one of the best Italian restaurants anywhere. A large selection, ample wine list, and great servers. Reservations strongly suggested...at least on the weekends. Took a risk and tried something new while visiting the Kansas City area.... We are now planning our next trip to KC around our meal at Salvatore's. Everyone had a wonderful meal, pleasant atmosphere and priced just right.

Oh my goodness this place is GREAT! From the food to the service, it was all top notch! We ate here on our wedding night. My chicken Spedini Giovanni was very good and my husbands “tour of Italy “ was the very best of everything on the plate we’ve ever had. Our server was so sweet and friendly. Thank you for making our great day even better!!!

The food was absolutely delicious! All of the sauces were very tasty. The bread was warm and moist. And we were very well taken care of by the staff. This is my new favorite for Italian.

Have gone there several times since my wife and I moved to Kansas City 3 months ago. Everything we have ordered has been fantastic. I cant pick a favorite dish yet they have all been so good! My wife loves the Gambretti Isabella. The wine list is acceptable and fairly priced. The Italian Manhattan is a great drink. The service is excellent and the manager always has time to stop by and chat. Very old school feel to the place that we love. We have found a spot we will be going to for years!

This has been my favorite restaurant for years. It's my choice for special occasions and just for a great meal. The service is good.... everyone is friendly and welcoming. I've never been disappointed. It will always be a special place for me.

My first time going to this restaurant and it was amazing from the moment we walked in the door. Julian was amazing and helpful in picking out my order. The food it self was amazing. The owners wife also came out and introduces herself to us. The man at the door was also very nice. I will go back and tell everyone I know to go as well.

The hospitality here is unrivaled! The service was wonderful; our server took care of seven adults and seven kids with ease and the owner was helping all over the restaurant on Saturday night. The food was all great (make sure to get the garlic oil for the bread) and came out at a nice pace. Not surprised Salvatore's has been a staple for 25 years!

Top quality Italian food. We had the artichoke appetizer, house and Caesar salad, speidini garrozo, eggplant parmigiana, and Italian sausage. All very well prepared and flavorful with a consistent satisfying sweetness punctuated with perfectly balanced garlic and classic Italian seasonings. Birthday Girl was really pleased!

Took my girl there for date night type of thing and as usual, no, as always it was delicious and the service exemplary. My girlfriend who doesn't typically drink wine wanted a glass with dinner and the server was knowledgeable about the different wines they carried and what wine pairs well with which dish. This is one of my favorite places to go for Italian cuisine that doesn't involve going to a family member's house!

First time coming here. I really enjoyed my dish. Got the Triple Delight, but they did forget the ravioli (so a double delight?). They fixed it by giving me some ravioli in my to-go box. The plate was enough food for at least 2 meals. Was pretty tasty as well.

I have been to dinner here several times and love it so much I had them cater my wedding. They really helped out the whole evening and were attentive to the buffet and all guest. The food is delicious, it was a real crowd pleaser and was awesome to celebrate our wedding with such delicious food and awesome staff.

I have eaten here around 10 times. The first time was about 9 months ago. This place is amazing! I have to say probably my favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is great. Service is great. The food is the best Italian ever. It's real Italian, and the place is run by real Italians. The owner and managers really care about the place and you can tell by how you are treated. I recommend you eat here.

There are only two places to eat Italian food in Kansas City, Sammy's is number one by far. Number two is okay.

Best Italian restaurant that my wife and I have been to in the Kansas City area. Beats be famous names Jaspers, V's, and Garozzos! And a huge plus, Salvatores gives you not only the best tasting Italian menu but they dont kill the wallet. You can easily make this a regular spot to bring the family. It is clean, the service is awesome. Our drinks never went empty the bread kept coming. Every server we have had knows the menu front and back. If by chance you are unsure of your order, no worries the servers make amazing recommendations.

We love salvatores restaurant, go on Valentine's day every year, hansome waiters . Great food, romantic atmosphere.

My wife and I ate there for the first time last night. No reservation, just walked in so we had a little wait. I have to say it was well worth it! Our waiter Kyle was super! Very attentive! We had Calamari for starters and it was great! When the main course came, I must say I had the best tasting Alfredo sauce I have ever had!! It was amazing!! Everything my wife and I had was wonderful! We will be going back again and again and again!!

Having been to Salvatore's several times now I can say the food is top notch always. The service is kind of hit and miss though and could use some consistency. Servers need to pay attention to the pace of the the table. Sometimes I don't mind spending 2 hours at a restaurant. Other times I would like a much faster pace.

The food is good, as is the service. If you're going to be in Independence, it's worth a try. The Sicilian butter is evil but delicious.

So romantic and perfect for celebrating special occasions. Food was very garlic heavy and delicious but that garlic will stay with you all evening and next day.

Visited Salvatore's tonight with reservations for a birthday get together. Salvatore's is always, consistently delicious, and they have an extensive menu and variety of pastas, chicken, beef, and seafood prepared in the old-world, Sicilian style of cooking. You can't go here without having the chicken spiedini. I like it prepared with the amogio sauce, but there are several other varieties. Tonight, I had the Tortellini Gina in Alfredo sauce with peas and mushrooms- excellent! The Italian bread brought to your table is fresh and soft waiting for you to butter it up, or dip into garlic butter sauce. It's an intimate place, and fills up quickly, so reserve ahead of time for your favorite occasion. The Garozzo family does it right when it comes to tasty Italian food, and we've had them cater an event for us before that came with a lot of compliments. I'll be back! Buon Appettito!
